Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of FreeAI — the browser extension, the desktop app, and the freeai.fyi website (together, the "Service"). By installing the extension, creating an account, or redeeming credits, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

What FreeAI is

FreeAI shows one subtle sponsored line while a web AI assistant (ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini) is generating a response, and returns 50% of the resulting ad revenue to you as credits redeemable for Claude. The Service does not read, transmit, or store the contents of your prompts or the assistant's output.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to earn or redeem credits.
• You're responsible for complying with the separate terms of any AI assistant you use the Service alongside (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google). FreeAI is independent of those services.
• One account per person. Accounts and credits are personal and may not be sold or transferred.

Earning credits

• Every five continuous seconds a sponsored line is shown counts as one impression; a click is worth 50× an impression.
• You earn your 50% share of the gross revenue for the impressions and clicks attributed to your device, tracked in an append-only ledger.
• Earnings are estimates until confirmed server-side and are subject to a daily cap. We don't guarantee any particular amount — it depends on available advertiser demand.
• Credits earned through fraud — including automated, spoofed, or artificially generated impressions or clicks — are void, and we may suspend the account.

Redeeming credits

• Credits are redeemed only on the freeai.fyi website, after you log in, for Claude gift cards (Claude Pro, Max 5x, or Max 20x).
• Redemption requires a confirmed balance at least equal to the gift price. Fulfillment is manual and arrives by email, typically within 48 hours.
• Credits are a promotional balance with no cash value, are not legal tender, and are not redeemable for cash. They may be forfeited if an account is closed or terminated for abuse.
• Gift cards are issued by, and subject to the terms of, Anthropic. FreeAI is not the issuer.

For advertisers

Advertisers fund campaigns through Stripe Checkout and enter an auction ranked by bid. Every campaign is reviewed before it serves; campaigns that are rejected in review are refunded. You're responsible for the accuracy and legality of the ad content you submit.

Acceptable use

• Don't tamper with, automate, or otherwise manipulate impression or click counts.
• Don't reverse-engineer, resell, or abuse the Service, or use it to violate any law or third-party right.
• We may suspend or remove access, and void affected credits, if you breach these terms.

Third parties & no affiliation

FreeAI is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google. "Claude," "ChatGPT," and "Gemini" are trademarks of their respective owners. We rely on Stripe for payments and payouts and on cloud infrastructure for hosting; your use of those is also subject to their terms.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular earnings or redemptions will be available.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FreeAI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the value of the credits in your account at the time of the claim.

Changes & termination

We may update the Service or these terms; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above, and continued use means you accept them. You can stop using the Service and uninstall at any time — credits confirmed before then remain redeemable, subject to these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which FreeAI is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
